🚨 WE ARE HIRING | DEPUTY CHIEF AGRONOMIST📍 Jember & Bondowoso, East JavaPT ADI Perdana Nusantara (ADIPNS) is currently looking for an experienced professional for placement with our client in the Tobacco & Agribusiness Industry.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Deputy Chief Agronomist to support the Chief Agronomists in leading agricultural operations across SF & TBN tobacco crops. The role will focus on R&D leadership, crop quality & yield improvement, operational excellence, cost management, and people development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the R&D Department for SF & TBN tobacco.Design, manage, and evaluate agricultural trials and innovations.Support crop management to achieve quality, wrapper yield, and cost targets.Drive continuous improvement, benchmarking, and best-practice implementation.Recruit, mentor, and develop agronomy talents and succession pipelines.Support wrapper processing, traceability, and compliance.

Requirements

🎓 Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy / Agriculture.🌱 Minimum 10 years of experience in agribusiness (tobacco, coffee, cocoa, etc.).👔 Minimum 5 years in leadership roles.🔬 Proven experience in R&D program development and implementation.💰 Strong understanding of P&L and cost management.🌾 Extensive crop experience, including cultivation, harvesting, and different agricultural operations.🌍 Experience in international or well structured agribusiness companies is preferred.🗣️ Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia & English.📌 Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
