Based at the RAK Ceramics Corporate Office in Ras Al Khaimah, the role will focus on financial planning and analysis, consolidated financial reporting, management reporting, factory cost analysis, budgeting, and financial performance evaluation.The role will also support strategic finance initiatives, including M&A analysis, acquisition target valuation, Capex evaluation, forex reporting, and system optimization and automation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams and contribute to ExCom and Board-level financial reporting and decision-making.What You Will Be DoingFinancial Reporting & Month-End ClosingPrepare quarterly consolidated financial reports for RAK Porcelain, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements in accordance with IFRS.Support month-end closing activities, including P&L, Balance Sheet, MIS packs, and consolidation within agreed timelines.Oversee monthly management reporting and financial consolidation for foreign subsidiaries.Review financial information and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.Cost Management & Variance AnalysisConduct factory cost runs, variance analysis, and COGS reviews for manufacturing units.Analyze gross profit percentages and variances against budget and prior year, including price, volume, and mix analysis.Reconcile COGS with the Trial Balance and perform cost center-wise analysis.Prepare and review factory cost budgets, including documentation of key cost drivers.Accounting Standards & Financial CompliancePrepare lease accounting workings and accounting entries under IFRS 16 across multiple regions.Support IFRS 9 implementation, including Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations and receivables provisioning.Conduct inventory ageing analysis and review slow-moving and obsolete inventory provisions (SLOB).Review GL accounts, maintain trial balances, and prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits.Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.Management Reporting & Business AnalysisPrepare finance presentations and management reports for ExCom and Board reviews, providing actionable financial insights.Support monthly working capital reviews and cash flow management.Prepare annual budget estimates for UAE entities and foreign subsidiaries, including detailed workings and variance analysis.Review and report forex gains/losses and assess their impact on the P&L.Conduct financial and commercial analysis to support business decision-making.Strategic Finance & M&A SupportReview and analyze potential acquisition targets as required.Support valuation activities, including IRR, WACC, and synergy analysis.Support pricing value chain analysis across Glassware, Cutlery, and Private Label segments.Support Capex evaluations and financial analysis for investment decisions.System Optimization & AutomationLead projects focused on system automation and optimization, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).Coordinate with IT and SAP support teams on system issues, COPA cycles, data updates, and customized reporting requirements.Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, automation, and process efficiency.What We Are Looking ForCA or CPA qualification with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), management reporting, financial consolidation, factory cost analysis, and budgeting.Experience working with manufacturing operations, auditors, and sales teams.Strong knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 9 and IFRS 16.Working knowledge of UAE corporate tax and statutory requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred.Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present complex financial information to senior management and the Board.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Our Ideal MatchCA or CPA qualified finance professional with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.Strong background in FP&A, consolidated financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.Proven experience in manufacturing finance and factory cost analysis.Strong understanding of IFRS 9 and IFRS 16, corporate tax, and statutory requirements.Advanced Excel skills and practical experience with SAP/ERP systems.Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, including experience with M&A valuation, IRR, WACC, and business analysis.Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to provide meaningful financial insights to senior stakeholders.Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to manage deadlines.Experience leading finance-related projects, automation, or system optimization initiatives is an advantage.RAK Ceramics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, nationality, disability, age, or marital status.
