Team members work in a dynamic environment that supports collaboration, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.Role DescriptionThe Purchase Manager at VR Coatings Pvt Ltd is responsible for procurement of raw materials, consumables, and equipment ensuring cost-effective purchasing and uninterrupted production.Key Responsibilities:- Procure raw materials for special purpose Machine manufacturing- Import Purchase- Source and negotiate with vendors for pricing, quality, and delivery- Develop and maintain vendor base- Coordinate with production, stores, and quality teams- Issue Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery- Monitor inventory levels- Procure machinery, spare parts, and maintenance items- Evaluate vendor performance- Ensure GST compliance and documentation- Identify cost-saving opportunitiesRequired Skills:- Strong negotiation and vendor management- Knowledge of industrial materials- ERP and MS Excel proficiency- Good communication and coordinationQualification:- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical- MBA preferredExperience:- 6-10 years in procurement- Manufacturing industry preferredKPIs:- Cost savings- Timely procurement- Vendor performance- Inventory controlAdditional:- Knowledge of GST and factory operations- SAP/ERP- Zero based costing-Good Communication & Interpersonal skills
