Navana Pharmaceuticals PLC is looking for Deputy Manager, MicrobiologyKey PointsThis position plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceutical products by monitoring and auditing manufacturing processes, reviewing documentation, and conducting investigations.Job Description / ResponsibilityManagement of Microbiology Laboratory Operations.Supervise/perform routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water, and environmental monitoring samples.Prepare/review test procedures, protocols, SOPsPlan and schedule laboratory work, allocate tasks, and manage team performance.Oversee environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, aseptic areas, and controlled zones.Monitor and coordinate sterility testing, endotoxin testing, microbial limit tests, and bioburden testing etc.Perform/Maintain, calibrate, and qualify microbiology laboratory equipment (incubators, autoclaves, Biosafety Cabinet, LAFs etc).Perform growth promotion test of microbiological media.Ensure effectiveness of sterilization and Depyrogenation process.Perform Evaluation of sanitizing agents and disinfectants used in cleaning and sanitizing of aseptic filling area.Train and mentor laboratory staff on microbiological methods, aseptic techniques, and safety procedures.Investigate and document OOS (Out of Specification), OOT (Out of Trend), deviations, and nonconformities related to microbiology.Represent the department during audits and Regulatory inspections as a subject matter expert.Contribute to continual improvement projects, validation activities, and new method development.Educational RequirementsM. Sc in Microbiology preferably from a reputed university.Additional RequirementsMinimum 8 years working experience in the mentioned department.Good interpersonal & communication skills and ability to work under pressure.Job LocationNarayanganj (Rupganj)
