Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Title: Deputy Research ManagerJob Location: NoidaJob Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deputy Research Manager to support our research initiatives in the CPES (Child Protection, Education & Skilling) vertical. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative research skills, experience managing large-scale data, and a background in economics, development studies, or related fields. The role will primarily focus on mixed-method study involving both quantitative and qualitative data management, cleaning, and analysis, with a focus on supporting child protection, education, and skilling programs.Key Responsibilities:Support the design and implementation of quantitative and qualitative research studies in the CPES (Child Protection, Education & Skilling) domain.Manage large-scale datasets: perform data cleaning, validation, and quality checks.Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analysis using STATA.Assist in developing tools and protocols for data collection and management.Contribute to the preparation of research reports, policy briefs, and presentations.Coordinate with field teams and other stakeholders for data collection and validation.Flexibility to work on qualitative data collection methods and analysis. Ensure data integrity and adherence to research protocols.Support senior researchers in literature reviews, proposal writing, and donor reporting.The above essential functions are representative of major duties of positions in this job. Other duties may be assigned similar to the above consistent with the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.Required Qualifications and Experience:Master's degree in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, or any other relevant Social Science discipline.2-3 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research, with hands-on experience in managing and analyzing large-scale datasets.Proficiency in STATA is mandatory.Strong analytical skills and experience in data cleaning, management, and statistical analysis.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.Desirable:Prior experience working in the Education and Skilling or Child protection sector.Experience with other statistical tools (e.g., R, SPSS) is an advantage.Sambodhi focuses on nurturing an inclusive work environment.
