Innovation and holistic wellness are at the heart of the clinic’s approach to patient care.Role Description The Derma Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based at New Age Clinic in Sharjah. This role involves assisting dermatologists and aesthetic practitioners with clinical procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring proper use and maintenance of dermatology and laser equipment. Daily responsibilities include conducting skin assessments as directed, explaining procedures to patients, obtaining informed consent, and providing pre- and post-treatment care instructions. The Derma Nurse will perform or support dermatologic and aesthetic treatments within their scope of practice, maintain accurate medical records, and monitor patients for treatment responses and side effects. The role also includes adhering to infection control standards, managing consumables and inventory, coordinating appointments, and contributing to a welcoming, professional patient experience.Qualifications Valid nursing license/registration and completed nursing education (e.g., diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent).Experience in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, or cosmetic clinic settings; familiarity with laser and dermatologic equipment (e.g., Cynosure, Deka, Candela Gentle Max Pro) is highly beneficial.Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, wound and skin care, injection support, and monitoring treatment outcomes.Knowledge of infection control, sterilization procedures, and safety protocols in an outpatient or clinic environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients, manage expectations, and provide empathetic, patient-centered care.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, follow clinical guidelines, and adapt to a fast-paced, technology-driven setting.Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation, using clinic management systems, and organizing schedules and patient flows.Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the local patient population are an advantage.Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, maintain professional appearance and behavior, and participate in ongoing training and development.
