You’ll work alongside highly skilled professionals and under the guidance of our fantastic 18 Week Clinical and Nurse Leads.At 18 Week Support, we’re committed to delivering the highest standards of care while helping to reduce NHS waiting lists. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your expertise in dermatology, working across outpatient clinics and supporting minor surgical procedures to improve the lives of patients with a wide range of skin conditions.🔑 Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised patient care plansPrepare, organise, and maintain the minor operations suite to ensure a safe, sterile working environmentAssist Consultants during minor dermatology surgical procedures, including excisions and biopsies.Provide skilled scrub and circulating support throughout procedures, ensuring smooth clinical flowPerform safe and accurate pre-operative checks, including patient identification, consent verification, and equipment readinessSupport outpatient dermatology clinics, including patient educationWork closely as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of Consultants, nurses, and HCAsAssist with dermatology-related minor surgical proceduresProvide wound care and topical treatments, including Doppler assessments and compression bandaging✅ RequirementsAt least 6 months’ recent experience in dermatology within the last 12 monthsNHS Experience NMC Registered Nurse 🏅💡 About Us18 Week Support is the UK’s leading insourcing provider to the NHS, specialising in clinical demand, capacity management, and waiting list reduction.
