Title: Dermatopathology Manager

Location: Austin, TXJob Type: Full-Time | Monday–FridayResponsibilitiesOversee daily lab operations, specimen processing, staining, and slide preparation.Manage, train, and evaluate laboratory staff.Maintain QA/QC programs and SOPs.Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and other regulations.Manage equipment, inventory, supplies, and vendors.Monitor laboratory workflow, quality, and turnaround times.Collaborate with dermatologists, pathologists, and administrative teams.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, Histotechnology, or related field.2–5 years of dermatopathology or histology experience.2+ years of supervisory or management experience.ASCP certification preferred.Knowledge of CLIA/CAP requirements and laboratory processes.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Experience with LIS or laboratory management software preferred.
