This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor Mobile Frontend Android based in Brazil.This is an opportunity to develop native Android experiences within a multidisciplinary squad building a new digital product for the financial sector. You will work primarily with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views in a modular and scalable architecture. The role combines native mobile development, Server-Driven UI, backend integrations, and a strong focus on performance and reliability. You will create reusable components and dynamic user journeys while contributing to the evolution of the mobile architecture. Security and resilience are key priorities given the financial context and the critical nature of the applications. You will collaborate closely with Backend, Architecture, QA, Product, and UX/UI teams in an environment focused on technical excellence and continuous improvement.AccountabilitiesDevelop and evolve native Android features and experiences using Kotlin.Build responsive, fluid interfaces aligned with established UX/UI standards and Google platform guidelines.Develop reusable mobile components within a modular and pluggable architecture.Implement components and user journeys using Server-Driven UI (SDUI) concepts.Interpret backend configurations and contracts to dynamically render interfaces and mobile experiences.Integrate Android applications with REST APIs and backend services.Manage application state, caching, local persistence, synchronization, and connectivity-related scenarios.Implement robust error handling for service failures, unavailable dependencies, and intermittent connectivity.Optimize application performance, stability, responsiveness, and overall user experience.Apply secure mobile development practices appropriate for applications operating in a financial environment.Develop unit and integration tests and contribute to broader automated testing strategies.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical standards, development practices, and architectural decisions.Collaborate closely with Backend, Architecture, QA, Product Owners, and UX/UI professionals.Contribute to the continuous evolution of the mobile architecture and shared component ecosystem.Support application observability, monitoring, troubleshooting, and analysis of runtime failures.RequirementsProfessional experience developing native mobile applications, particularly for Android.Strong knowledge of Kotlin and experience with Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views.Familiarity with mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar approaches.Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs.Solid understanding of JSON and data serialization/deserialization.Knowledge of asynchronous programming and concurrency management.Experience with mobile application modularization and reusable component design.Proficiency with Git and version-control strategies.Experience writing unit tests and automated tests for Android applications.Familiarity with CI/CD practices applied to mobile development.Understanding of Android application lifecycle concepts and Google platform development guidelines.Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect is an advantage.Knowledge of JWT, secure token management, and secure storage of sensitive information on mobile devices is desirable.Familiarity with Android Keystore, Certificate Pinning, biometrics, Secure Coding practices, and OWASP Mobile Application Security is a plus.Experience in digital banking, fintech, payments, or other financial technology environments is desirable.Experience with Server-Driven UI, Super Apps, modular and pluggable architectures, or high-scale and business-critical applications is an advantage.Familiarity with Feature Flags and Remote Configuration is a plus.Experience with mobile application observability and monitoring is beneficial.Knowledge of financial products, payment solutions, or digital wallets is desirable.Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and product disciplines.Analytical and proactive mindset, with attention to application quality, security, performance, and maintainability.BenefitsOpportunity to work on a new digital product within the financial technology sector.Exposure to modern Android development, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, modular architectures, and Server-Driven UI.Collaborative multidisciplinary environment involving Engineering, Architecture, QA, Product, and UX/UI teams.Opportunity to contribute to technical standards and the evolution of a shared mobile architecture.Remote work model within Brazil.Professional development opportunities through knowledge-sharing and technical learning initiatives.Access to career development and mentorship programs.Opportunity to work in a technology-focused environment that values diversity, respect, collaboration, and continuous learning.Exposure to challenging projects and opportunities to expand expertise in mobile engineering, security, architecture, and financial technology.How Jobgether WorksWe use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
