Design Director - Luxury Kids Brand

Established luxury fashion and lifestyle brand is looking for a Design Director to join their team in New York to design across their kids apparel collection.**5 days on site

Responsibilities

Lead the creative direction and overall design strategy across all kids wovens and cut & sew knitsLead development of concepts, colors, prints, fabrics, and key design detailsManage and mentor designers while overseeing creative execution and developmentPartner with merchandising, buying, sourcing, and production teams to align design with business goalsMonitor market and fashion trends to inform product direction and keep the assortment relevantReview samples, prototypes, and technical materials to ensure quality and design consistencyOversee graphics, prints, patterns, and other surface design initiativesPresent collections to leadership and ensure designs meet timelines, costs, and production standards.Travel as needed for factories, sourcing, and industry events

Qualifications

7-10+ years of relevant design experiencePrior experience in a leadership roleBachelor's Degree in design or related fieldStrong knowledge of manufacturing process and production timelinesProficiency in Adobe CSStrong written and verbal communication skillsPlease submit your resume & portfolio for consideration!
