Design Engineer

Technical Design Engineer – Cable Design (UL Experience Mandatory)We are looking for a Technical Design Engineer with strong experience in cable design and engineering to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing standard and special cables, ensuring compliance with international standards and customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop standard and customized cables based on customer specifications and technical requirements.Perform electrical and mechanical cable design calculations and provide technical solutions.Ensure cable designs comply with UL standards and international specifications.Prepare cable construction drawings using AutoCAD.Support product development, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Planning, and customers/EPC contractors on technical requirements.Maintain technical documentation and update designs in ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).Provide technical support during tendering and production stages.Requirements:✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering✅ 3–5 years of relevant experience in Cable Design / Technical Design Engineering within the cable manufacturing industry✅ Mandatory: Hands-on experience with UL standards and UL-approved cable designs✅ Strong knowledge of cable construction, materials, and manufacturing processes✅ Experience with AutoCAD for cable drawings✅ Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is preferred✅ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
