We are looking for an Applications Engineer who thrives on solving complex mechanical problems and driving product validation.Position SummaryWe are looking for an Applications Engineer to take ownership of our Port Fuel Injection products throughout their lifecycle. This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk doing conceptual design all day. You will be the technical backbone for our product performance, bridging the gap between engineering, testing, manufacturing, and quality. If you are ready to investigate failures, drive root-cause analysis, and make practical decisions that protect product quality and shipment readiness, this is your opportunity to make a massive impact.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn application engineering issues and provide critical product-validation support for assigned programs.Investigate product performance issues, including test failures, flow audits, and field incidents, to determine the root cause.Decide what testing is required before new products are released and interpret validation results to recommend next steps.Lead corrective action activities with practical fixes that improve product robustness and reduce scrap costs.Author clear, formal technical documentation, including incident reports, engineering updates, and audit summaries.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and external suppliers, to keep everyone aligned.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.At least four years of experience in application engineering, product support, validation, or sustaining engineering.A strong background in automotive systems, engines, fuel injectors, valves, or comparable mechanical fluid-control products.Proven experience investigating mechanical failures, interpreting test results, and leading root-cause and corrective-action efforts.Join a stable, established team where your practical engineering skills will be recognized and rewarded.
