ECOAIR works across hospitality, healthcare, commercial, and industrial sectors, delivering solutions that enhance indoor air quality, reduce energy use, and support long-term operational efficiency.Role Description The Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Umm Al Quwain. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and refining mechanical and HVAC system designs, including ventilation, air movement, and kitchen exhaust solutions for commercial projects. Daily tasks include creating and updating CAD models and drawings, preparing technical documentation, supporting product development, and ensuring designs comply with Civil Defense requirements and international standards. The role involves collaborating with project managers, sales teams, and other engineers to provide design inputs, coordinate with MEP stakeholders, and resolve technical issues during project execution. The Design Engineer will also participate in design reviews, cost and feasibility assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives for ECOAIR products and systems.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Design Engineering and Product Design for commercial HVAC and ventilation systems.Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Engineering for air movement, ductwork, and system performance analysis.Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating detailed models, drawings, and layouts.Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Engineering related to fans, control systems, and integrated HVAC solutions.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.Experience in HVAC, ventilation, or building services engineering within commercial or industrial sectors.Knowledge of regional building codes, Civil Defense requirements, and relevant international standards.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams.
