Design Engineer (Geotechnical & Piling)

We are looking for a Design Engineer (Geotechnical / Piling) to join our client’s Operations — Engineering & Design team based in Abu Dhabi.The role is responsible for developing practical, buildable piling designs that support both tendering and project delivery. Working from soil-investigation data, structural information, specifications and project requirements, you will design piling solutions that are technically sound, commercially viable and appropriate for site conditions.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in civil/geotechnical engineering, with a strong focus on piling and foundation works.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in piling design, preferably with a piling contractor or specialist foundation contractor.Practical experience in designing bored piles and/or CFA piles.Good understanding of pile capacity, settlement, reinforcement, and piling construction methodologies.Experience interpreting soil investigation reports, geotechnical data, and parameters.Ability to prepare clear and accurate engineering calculations, pile schedules, and technical documentation.Good understanding of piling construction methods and practical site requirements.Strong technical communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.UAE experience and knowledge of local ground conditions would be highly advantageous.
