The ideal candidate will oversee human-centered design processes, innovation frameworks, prototyping, emerging technologies, and cross-functional collaboration while creating impactful solutions that improve customer experiences and business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement design innovation strategies, innovation frameworks, and creative methodologies aligned with organizational objectives.Lead human-centered design initiatives, design thinking workshops, innovation sprints, ideation sessions, and experimentation programs.Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Research, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Experience, Strategy, Sustainability, Operations, and Executive Leadership to develop innovative solutions.Conduct user research, market analysis, trend studies, behavioral insights, and opportunity assessments to identify emerging design opportunities.Translate customer needs, business challenges, and technological possibilities into innovative design concepts, prototypes, and scalable solutions.Establish design innovation processes, governance frameworks, experimentation models, and best practices across the organization.Lead rapid prototyping, concept validation, user testing, service design initiatives, and iterative improvement cycles.Explore emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), digital twins, generative design, and advanced visualization tools to enhance design innovation.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between creative teams, technical teams, business stakeholders, customers, and external innovation partners.Manage innovation portfolios, design challenges, pilot programs, innovation labs, and strategic design transformation initiatives.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including innovation pipeline value, prototype success rate, user adoption, customer satisfaction, design impact, time-to-market improvement, stakeholder engagement, and business value creation.Conduct design maturity assessments, innovation audits, competitive benchmarking, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with intellectual property requirements, accessibility standards, sustainability principles, ethical design practices, and organizational innovation policies.Manage design innovation budgets, research tools, innovation platforms, external design partners, creative agencies, and strategic technology investments.Drive digital transformation through AI-assisted design, generative design tools, automated prototyping, design analytics, collaborative design platforms, workflow automation, and business intelligence solutions.Utilize Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Miro, Mural, Autodesk platforms, Rhino, Grasshopper, CAD tools, prototyping platforms, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Tableau, user research platforms, and design collaboration technologies to accelerate innovation outcomes.Prepare executive presentations, innovation roadmaps, design strategy reports, prototype demonstrations, research insights, business cases, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.Lead, mentor, and develop designers, innovation specialists, researchers, creative technologists, and cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of creativity, experimentation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, User Experience (UX), Architecture, Engineering, Innovation Management, Human-Centered Design, or a related field.Master's degree in Design Innovation, Design Management, Business Administration (MBA), Product Development, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related discipline is highly advantageous.Professional certifications in Design Thinking, Innovation Management, User Experience (UX), Agile methodologies, Product Management, Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent are preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in design innovation, product design, service design, UX strategy, innovation management, creative strategy, or related roles.At least 2 years of experience managing design innovation programs, multidisciplinary design teams, innovation portfolios, or strategic transformation initiatives preferred.Strong understanding of design thinking, innovation methodologies, user research, prototyping, experience design, creative strategy, emerging technologies, and product development processes.Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Miro, Mural, Autodesk platforms, Rhino, Grasshopper, CAD tools, prototyping platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, and design collaboration technologies.Familiarity with AI-powered design tools, generative design, digital twins, immersive technologies, rapid prototyping, design automation, and advanced innovation platforms is highly advantageous.Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, creative thinking, strategic planning, project management, budgeting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple innovation initiatives while balancing creativity, business objectives, technical feasibility, customer needs, budgets, timelines, and organizational priorities.Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed design teams, researchers, engineers, product leaders, executives, and global innovation partners, with occasional travel for workshops, innovation labs, conferences, and
