lead design-led innovation initiatives, strategic design programs, research activities, prototyping, and cross-functional transformation projects.The successful candidate will work across business, technology, product, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to identify opportunities, develop innovative concepts, validate solutions, and translate ideas into scalable business outcomes.This prototyping, validation, and implementationIdentify emerging customer needs, market opportunities, technologies, and behavioral trendsConduct user research, customer interviews, ethnographic research, journey mapping, and experience analysisTranslate research insights into actionable design and innovation opportunitiesFacilitate design-thinking workshops, innovation sprints, ideation sessions, and strategic co-creation activitiesDevelop concepts, prototypes, service models, product ideas, and customer-experience solutionsLead rapid experimentation and proof-of-concept initiativesTest concepts with customers and stakeholders and incorporate feedback into design iterationsCollaborate with product, technology, marketing, operations, strategy, engineering, and business-development teamsDevelop customer journeys, service blueprints, experience maps, personas, and design frameworksIdentify opportunities to simplify processes and improve customer and employee experiencesEvaluate emerging technologies including AI, generative AI, automation, AR/VR, spatial computing, IoT, digital twins, and other innovative solutionsAssess the commercial, operational, technical, and customer impact of emerging technologiesDevelop innovation roadmaps and prioritize initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and customer impactEstablish innovation frameworks, governance processes, design standards, and experimentation methodologiesDevelop business cases, investment proposals, and strategic recommendations for innovation initiativesEstablish KPIs to measure innovation performance, adoption, customer impact, efficiency gains, and commercial outcomesManage external design agencies, innovation consultants, technology partners, research firms, and specialist suppliersBuild relationships with startups, universities, technology companies, design studios, and innovation ecosystemsMonitor global design and innovation trends and identify opportunities relevant to the organizationConduct competitive benchmarking and analyze best practices across leading organizationsSupport digital-transformation and organizational-change programs through design-led methodologiesPromote accessibility, inclusion, sustainability, and responsible design principlesEnsure innovation initiatives comply with applicable UAE regulatory, privacy, cybersecurity, accessibility, and governance requirementsPrepare executive presentations, innovation reports, design concepts, strategic recommendations, and project updatesCommunicate complex design and technology concepts clearly to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholdersManage project budgets, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverablesRecruit, mentor, and develop designers, innovation specialists, researchers, and project teamsBuild an organizational culture that encourages creativity, experimentation, collaboration, and continuous improvement✅ What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, Architecture, UX/UI, Business, Innovation Management, Engineering, or a related field5–10+ years of experience in design innovation, design strategy, product development, service design, UX, innovation consulting, or digital transformationProven experience leading design and innovation initiatives from concept to implementationStrong understanding of design thinking, human-centered design, service design, prototyping, experimentation, and innovation methodologiesExperience managing multidisciplinary teams and cross-functional projectsStrong ability to translate customer insights and emerging trends into commercially viable solutionsExcellent strategic thinking, facilitation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skillsStrong understanding of digital technologies and emerging innovation trendsStrong understanding of the UAE innovation and digital-transformation environment is highly desirable🌟 Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Design, Innovation, Business Administration, Strategic Design, Technology Management, or a related disciplineProfessional certifications in Design Thinking, Innovation Management, UX, Service Design, Agile, Scrum, or equivalentStrong proficiency with tools such as Figma, Miro, FigJam, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping platforms, and collaborative-design technologiesExperience with AI, generative AI, digital products, immersive experiences, IoT, smart-city technologies, or emerging technologyExperience developing design systems, customer-experience frameworks, service standards, or innovation labsKnowledge of UX research, behavioral science, data analytics, customer analytics, and experimentationExperience working with startups, venture ecosystems, universities, accelerators, or technology partnersExperience in industries such as technology, financial services, healthcare, aviation, real estate, hospitality, retail, telecommunications, government, or smart-city developmentPrevious experience working across the UAE and GCC is an advantageFamiliarity with UAE innovation initiatives, digital-government programs, and
