CLIENT: Leading Apparel Manufacturing CompanyDESIGNATION: Design ManagerPRODUCT: Women’s Woven Casual WearLOCATION: Dhaka, BangladeshPACKAGE: USD 3,000 – 4,000 Net++OVERVIEWA leading apparel manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Design Manager with strong expertise in Women’s Woven Casual Wear. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience within an apparel manufacturing environment and be capable of leading the design and development process from concept through to production.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and development of Women’s Woven Casual Wear collections based on customer and market requirements
• Develop new styles, collections and product concepts aligned with international fashion trends
• Manage the end-to-end design development process from concept and sketches through sampling and production
• Work closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Sampling, Technical andProduction teams to ensure designs are commercially viable and production-ready
• Review samples, garment construction, fabrics, trims and finishing to ensure design requirements are achieved
• Lead and develop the design team and ensure timely completion of design and development activities
• Work with customers / buyers to understand seasonal design directions, product requirements and expectations
• Identify opportunities for new products, fabrics, techniques and design innovations
• Ensure designs meet required quality, cost, construction and production feasibility standards
• Monitor international fashion and market trends and translate them into commercially viable products
• Support continuous improvement across the design and product development processPRE-REQUISITES
• Women’s Woven Casual Wear experience is mandatory
• Apparel / Garment Manufacturing Company experience is mandatory
• Hands-on experience developing Women’s Woven Casual Wear within a manufacturing / export production environment
• Strong understanding of woven fabrics, garment construction, trims and finishing
• Strong knowledge of design development and product development processes
• Experience managing or leading a design team will be preferred
• Strong understanding of international fashion trends and commercial product development
• Ability to work closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Sampling and Production teams
• Candidates from India or other Asian countries will be considered
• Bangladesh apparel manufacturing exposure will be an advantageWe are specifically looking for candidates who have developed Women’s Woven Casual Wear within an Apparel Manufacturing environment.
