Job Title: Design Manager - Façade Location: Abu DhabiBudget: AED 12,000 -15,000 + BenefitsRole Review:Lead façade design teams and oversee curtain wall, glazing, cladding & aluminium systems, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the façade design team to deliver high-quality design outputs.Review architectural drawings, tender documents, and project specifications.Oversee the preparation of detailed design, shop, and fabrication drawings.Ensure façade systems meet structural, thermal, and performance requirements.Perform and review design calculations, including wind load, structural analysis, and thermal performance.Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project managers.Ensure compliance with international standards such as ASTM, BS, and EN, as well as project specifications.Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.Provide technical guidance and mentoring to design engineers and draftsmen.Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and installation efficiency.Qualifications & Required CompetenciesBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Specialized training or certification in façade engineering is preferred.Strong expertise in façade systems, including curtain walls, aluminium systems, glazing, cladding, and skylights.Proficiency in design software such as LogiKal/Orgadata, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.Strong knowledge of structural calculations and façade performance criteria.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong coordination, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.Minimum 10 years of experience in façade design.
