In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee the comprehensive planning and design of large-scale master planning projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable, and commercially viable urban development solutions. You will be responsible for translating client vision into detailed master plans while ensuring alignment with local regulations, market demands, and organizational standards.Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of master planning projects from inception through completionManage and mentor a team of designers, planners, and technical specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environmentConduct detailed site analysis and feasibility studies to inform strategic planning recommendationsDevelop comprehensive master plans utilizing industry-standard design software and modeling toolsCoordinate with stakeholders, clients, and municipal authorities to ensure project alignment with regulatory requirements and local development guidelinesAnalyze market trends, demographic data, and economic factors to inform design strategies and recommendationsPrepare and present detailed design proposals, visualizations, and reports to clients and internal leadershipManage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project deliveryEnsure all designs meet sustainability standards and incorporate best practices in urban design and environmental planningReview and quality-assure all design deliverables to maintain organizational standards and client expectationsStay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving best practices in master planning and urban designQualificationsMinimum 15 years of professional experience in master planning, urban design, or large-scale development projectsProven expertise in developing comprehensive master plans for mixed-use, residential, commercial, or mixed-development projectsAdvanced proficiency with design and planning software including AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, and 3D modeling toolsStrong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and local planning standards, with familiarity of Saudi Arabian regulations preferredDemonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams and leading design-focused projectsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable design strategiesStrong presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse audiencesProject management experience including budget oversight, scheduling, and resource managementExperience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and advanced visualization techniquesKnowledge of sustainable design principles and green building standardsFamiliarity with the Middle Eastern market and development context is highly desirableProficiency in stakeholder management and client relationship buildingStrong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
