Design Team Lead

About the roleXorora is a creative and technology agency serving international clients across e-commerce, branding, and digital marketing. We are looking for a Design Team Lead who can own the creative vision and lead a team that ships high volume, high quality work. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who thinks like an art director, produces like a modern AI native designer, and manages like someone who has run a studio before.If you can hold a brand's visual standard while pushing output through AI image and video pipelines, this role is for you.What you will doSet and protect the art direction across client and in house projects, from mood and concept through to final polished deliveryLead, mentor, and quality check a team of graphic designers and motion creators, keeping standards consistent across every deliverableBuild and refine AI first production workflows using tools like Google Nano Banana Pro for image generation and Kling AI for video, paired with Adobe Suite for professional refinementTranslate client briefs into clear creative direction, then break work down and assign it across the teamReview work with a critical eye, give sharp feedback, and raise the bar on composition, typography, colour, and storytellingManage timelines, workloads, and priorities so the team delivers on schedule without dropping qualityStay ahead of new AI tools and techniques and bring the best ones into the team's workflowWhat we are looking for5 or more years in design, with at least 2 years leading or mentoring a team, ideally inside an agency or studioA strong portfolio that shows real art direction, not just executionGenuine hands on skill with AI image and video generation tools, backed by samples you can showAdvanced Adobe Suite proficiency (Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects or Premiere a plus) for refinement and finishingA clear eye for brand consistency and premium visual qualityStrong communication in English, since you will work with international clientsThe ability to give and receive feedback in a way that lifts the whole teamNice to haveExperience with Amazon or e-commerce creative (listing images, A plus content, product video)Motion design and short form video editingExperience building or documenting creative workflows and SOPsWhat we offerA chance to lead the creative direction of a growing agencyExposure to international clients and global standardsA team that is serious about AI as a real production tool, not a gimmick
