Company Description Mapa Limak CRRC Consortium is a group of leading Turkish and Chinese companies awarded the contract for the Dubai Metro Blue Line project by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The project covers approximately 30 kilometers and includes 14 stations, contributing significantly to Dubai’s expanding public transport network. Valued at AED 20.5 billion, the Blue Line is a major infrastructure initiative that aims to enhance mobility and connectivity across the city. Team members joining the consortium will be part of a high-profile rail project with substantial impact on urban development and daily commuter experience.Role Description The Designated Individual is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, supporting the safe and compliant delivery of the Dubai Metro Blue Line project. This role involves overseeing specific operational or compliance responsibilities assigned by the consortium, monitoring adherence to project standards, and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and regulatory bodies. The Designated Individual will assist in preparing and reviewing documentation, reports, and records related to project activities and safety procedures. Daily tasks include tracking progress against defined requirements, identifying and escalating issues or risks, and supporting audits, inspections, and stakeholder communications. The role also entails contributing to continuous improvement of processes, ensuring that project milestones are met within agreed timelines and quality parameters.Qualifications Project oversight and coordination skills, including the ability to monitor activities, track milestones, and support cross-functional teams.Strong documentation and reporting skills, with experience preparing compliance records, summaries, and status updates.Knowledge of safety, regulatory, or quality standards in construction, infrastructure, or rail projects, with attention to detail and risk awareness.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with engineers, managers, regulators, and other stakeholders.Ability to work on-site in a dynamic project environment, with strong organizational and time-management capabilities.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, transport, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.Experience in large-scale infrastructure or rail transit projects in the Middle East or international environments is preferred.Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or Turkish/Chinese languages is an asset.
