About the CompanyWe are seeking an experienced Designer (Ready-To-Wear) to join a growing Los Angeles-based fashion design team. This full-time, primarily in-office role is ideal for a creative, commercially minded designer with strong taste, a clear point of view, and a deep understanding of ready-to-wear trends.About the RoleYou will contribute to multiple collections, helping translate seasonal concepts into compelling product from initial research through development, fittings, and production readiness.ResponsibilitiesResearch fashion, consumer, color, and market trends to inform seasonal direction.Develop seasonal concepts, inspiration boards, sketches, CADs, color palettes, and product assortments.Collaborate with cross-functional partners throughout the product development lifecycle.Support fabric, trim, wash, and color development with internal and external partners.Create and review technical packages to ensure design intent is clearly communicated.Participate in fit sessions and provide detailed feedback on construction, proportion, and overall product execution.Help manage in-season development needs and evolving collection priorities.Provide guidance and support to junior members of the design team.Travel internationally as needed to support product development and vendor meetings.Qualifications5+ years of ready-to-wear apparel design experience.Required SkillsA strong fashion point of view, refined color sense, and understanding of fabrications and trims.Experience designing commercially relevant, trend-aware apparel collections.Strong sketching and CAD skills, with experience developing and reviewing tech packs.Confidence participating in fittings and translating feedback into product improvements.Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Excel, and relevant AI-enabled design tools.Excellent organization, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Preferred SkillsPlus-size apparel experience is a plus.Pay range and compensation package
