Desktop Support Engineer - Healthcare Imaging / Eye Care Equipment Support📍 Location: Bangalore / Chennai🕒 Experience: 3+ Years💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer with hands-on experience supporting Healthcare Imaging, Eye Care, Diagnostic, or Medical Equipment environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Windows desktop support, device connectivity troubleshooting, healthcare IT workflows, and end-user support within hospitals, clinics, or diagnostic centers.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and support Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals used with healthcare and eye-care equipment.Troubleshoot connectivity issues between PCs and medical devices, imaging systems, and diagnostic equipment.Configure and maintain healthcare applications and device interfaces.Support imaging environments including PACS, RIS, DICOM, HL7, and related healthcare workflows.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network-related issues.Manage incidents and service requests through ticketing tools while meeting SLA requirements.Work closely with vendors and field engineers for device installation, maintenance, and issue resolution.Provide technical assistance and training to clinicians, technicians, and end users.Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions.Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams when required.Mandatory SkillsWindows 10/11 Desktop SupportLaptop/Desktop Hardware TroubleshootingActive Directory User AdministrationTCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN TroubleshootingServiceNow or other ITSM / Ticketing ToolsEnd User Computing (EUC) SupportPrinter & Peripheral Device SupportStrong Customer Service and Communication SkillsHighly Preferred Experience✅ Healthcare Imaging Systems✅ Eye Care Equipment Support✅ Diagnostic Device Support✅ PACS Administration✅ RIS / VNA Support✅ DICOM & HL7 Protocols✅ Radiology / Ophthalmology Equipment Integration✅ Medical Device Connectivity Troubleshooting
