Development Engineer – PowertrainA leading motorsports and high-performance engineering organization is seeking a Development Engineer to help develop, test, and validate advanced powertrain technologies.This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer who enjoys turning concepts into real-world performance, from development and testing through validation and production.What You'll Do:Develop and execute powertrain development and test plans.Design and coordinate component and system testing.Analyze test data and translate results into engineering recommendations.Create test procedures, validation plans, and technical reports.Collaborate with engineering teams to solve technical issues and optimize performance.Support continuous improvement of testing and development processes.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.5+ years of powertrain development and testing experience.Background in internal combustion engines, electrified powertrains, or related technologies.Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems.Experience with data acquisition, instrumentation, test execution, and data analysis.Preferred:Powertrain or chassis dynamometer testing.Data logging hardware/software.Automotive, motorsports, or high-performance engineering experience.If you’re passionate about powertrain development, testing, data, and performance, this is an opportunity to work on advanced technology alongside highly skilled motorsports engineers.
