Company DescriptionZero Two is a sovereign-backed digital infrastructure platform headquartered in Abu Dhabi, focused on investing in, developing, and operating next-generation infrastructure that powers the AI economy.With a growing portfolio spanning data centers, high-performance computing, and digital infrastructure platforms, Zero Two is supporting the UAE's ambition to become a global technology and AI hub.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer to join our Development team in Abu Dhabi.Reporting to the Project Assistant Manager – Development, you will support the delivery of owner-side data center development projects across the full project lifecycle —from design coordination and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover.The successful candidate will work closely with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate design reviews, technical submittals, and engineering documentationMonitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with approved designs and quality standardsManage RFIs, NCRs, technical queries, and contractor coordination activitiesSupport procurement processes, bid evaluations, contract administration, and long-lead equipment trackingMonitor project costs, variations, payment applications, and cash flow forecastsCoordinate commissioning activities, including FATs, SATs, punch list management, and operational readinessSupport project handover activities, including as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and lessons learnedMaintain project records, document control systems, and reporting dashboardsEnsure compliance with HSE requirements and project governance standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineProject Engineer: 2–4 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, data center, energy, or industrial projectsSenior Project Engineer: 4–6 years of relevant experience with demonstrated ownership of construction packages and commissioning activitiesExperience in owner-side or EPC environments is preferredExperience with data center, hyperscale, or critical infrastructure projects is highly desirableStrong understanding of MEP systems, construction methods, contract administration, and quality assurance processesExperience managing RFIs, NCRs, submittals, variations, and commissioning activitiesFamiliarity with project management and document control platforms such as Aconex, Procore, or similar systems is an advantageProfessional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are desirableSkillsStrong technical and analytical capabilitiesExcellent stakeholder and contractor management skillsStrong organizational and documentation skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive, solutions-oriented, and detail-focused mindsetCommitment to quality, safety, and operational excellenceJoin us in shaping the future of digital infrastructure.
