The Plot Pictures is GCC and MENAT’s first independent narrative studio. Our goal is to find unique stories from the region and bring them out in the most authentic voice by pairing the best talent in the region. We are focused on creating a diverse slate of hyperlocal independent films, TV series and web series for both local and global audiences.The RoleWe are looking for a highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented Development Executive Assistant to support the Head of Creative Development and the wider team.The role is primarily focused on executive support, office administration, media operations and coordination, with opportunities to contribute to creative development, industry research and talent engagement.Responsibilities:Executive & Administrative SupportManage the Head of Creative Development’s diary, meetings, calls and travel schedules.Coordinate internal and external meetings with senior leadership, writers, directors, producers, talent and industry stakeholders.Prepare the Head of Creative Development for daily meetings, including ensuring relevant scripts, reading and viewing material are available.Take meeting minutes, track action points and follow up with relevant stakeholders.Act as a professional first point of contact for calls, visitors and external partners.Support day-to-day office administration and general operational requirements.Employee & Business AdministrationCoordinate employee visa and Emirates ID processing, including new visas, renewals, cancellations, status changes and related documentation.Liaise with PROs, government authorities and relevant service providers on visa and immigration matters.Maintain accurate employee and company documentation and ensure renewals are tracked and completed on time.Support office tenancy renewals, trade licence renewals, company documentation and other corporate administrative requirements.Coordinate with Finance and other internal teams on invoices, expenses, payments and administrative requirements.Maintain organised records, databases and trackers for employee, company and operational documents.Support onboarding and offboarding administration, including visa, insurance and documentation requirements.Assist with travel arrangements, accommodation and logistics for employees, senior executives and visiting talent.Media & Production CoordinationSupport coordination with production companies, filmmakers, government entities and industry stakeholders.Assist with filming permits, production-related administration and regulatory coordination where required.Support local and international production teams with operational and logistical requirements.Coordinate attendance at film festivals, premieres, industry events and creative initiatives.Creative Development SupportMaintain submissions and project trackers and assist the development team with general project administration.Proofread scripts and development materials and ensure correct filing, version control and watermarking.Support basic script coverage, research, synopses, project lists and beat sheets when required.Maintain databases of writers, directors, producers and other industry talent.Track relevant film, TV and wider creative industry news and developments across the GCC/MENAT region.Required Skills & Experience:3+ years of experience in administration, executive assistance, media operations, production coordination or a similar role, preferably within film, television, media or creative industries.Strong experience in office administration, employee visa/immigration processing and coordination with government authorities and external service providers.Experience handling company documentation, licence/tenancy renewals, employee records and general operational administration.Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Confident dealing with senior executives, talent, government entities and external stakeholders.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Good working knowledge of MS Office and administrative systems.Familiarity with the UAE/GCC media and production ecosystem is an advantage.Genuine interest in film, television and the wider creative industries.Working knowledge of Final Draft is a plus.Fluent English and another regional language; Arabic is a plus.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Film & TV, Media & Communication, Business Administration, Entertainment or a related field preferred.Relevant experience in lieu of a specific degree may be considered.
