Development Manager / Developer SurveyorResidential & Hotel Development | London & M25 CorridorBlackmount Recruitment is partnering with a highly established, privately owned property and hospitality developer to appoint an ambitious Development Manager / Developer Surveyor.With more than 50 years of experience, the business creates high-quality residential, hotel and mixed-use developments across London and the wider UK. Their portfolio includes luxury homes, complex conversions and restoration projects, alongside branded hotel schemes delivered in partnership with leading global operators.This is an excellent opportunity to join a lean, hands-on development team and take genuine ownership of schemes from initial appraisal and acquisition through planning, delivery and completion.The role will include:Preparing development appraisals and supporting land/site acquisitionsManaging design development alongside architects, consultants and construction teamsOverseeing planning applications, discharge of conditions, Section 106 matters and appealsManaging development budgets, cashflow forecasts and project performanceCoordinating utilities, Building Regulations, CDM and wider statutory requirementsMonitoring site progress through regular visits and reporting across multiple schemesSupporting residential sales and marketing activity, alongside hotel brand, FF&E and compliance requirementsWorking closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to drive quality, programme and commercial outcomesWe are looking for:Demonstrable experience as a Development Management / Developer Surveying experienceProven exposure to both residential and hotel schemesStrong understanding of the development lifecycle, from feasibility through to completionExperience in planning, appraisals, consultant management and development financeA commercially aware, organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentExcellent attention to detail, communication and stakeholder-management skillsWillingness to travel across London, the M25 corridor and occasionally further afieldIn return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary, discretionary bonus and the opportunity to work across an interesting, varied pipeline of high-quality projects.To discuss this opportunity in confidence, please apply directly or contact directly at param@blackmountrecruitment.com
