DevOps Application Specialist - Fintech

Job Title: DevOps - Application Specialist – Fintech Role PurposeManage and optimize application delivery, deployment automation, production support, and operational reliability for fintech platforms.

The role ensures secure, stable, and scalable application environments while supporting CI/CD, monitoring, integration, incident resolution, and system performance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, deployment, and release management.Support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for incidents.Manage application configurations, environments, and deployment processes across development, UAT, pre-production, and production.Monitor application health, logs, performance, availability, and integrations to ensure operational stability.Support fintech applications related to lending, payments, wallets, reconciliation, and operational systems.Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams for release readiness and production stability.Implement application monitoring, alerting, observability, and performance optimization practices.Support containerization, automation, scripting, and infrastructure/application deployment activities.Ensure secure application operations, access management, patching coordination, and compliance with internal standards.Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment procedures.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.3–6+ years of experience in DevOps, application support, or production operations.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, deployment automation, and release management.Experience supporting Linux-based applications, APIs, middleware, and microservices environments.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, scripting (Shell/Python), monitoring, and log analysis tools.Experience with application troubleshooting, incident management, and performance tuning.Knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and troubleshooting integration.Experience in fintech, payments, lending, wallets, or regulated environments is highly preferred.Preferred KnowledgeLending lifecycle, payment processing, reconciliation, and transaction-heavy systems.Monitoring and observability tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK, AppDynamics, etc.).Cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure) and containerized deployments.Strong ownership, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
