DevOps EngineerLocation: Dallas, TX – HybridCompensation: $100,000–$130,000 Base Salary + BenefitsJob SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology team responsible for building reliable, secure, and scalable software and infrastructure environments.This role works closely with Software Engineering and IT, with a strong focus on CI/CD automation, Azure DevOps, cloud infrastructure, production support, and deployment reliability.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting production environments and enjoys automating processes, improving system performance, and solving complex infrastructure and deployment challenges.Job Responsibilities Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for new and existing software products. Manage build, release, and deployment processes across multiple environments. Partner with Software Engineering and IT teams to develop effective deployment and infrastructure strategies. Support and administer Windows and Linux servers in production environments. Automate manual processes using Bash, PowerShell, and other scripting technologies. Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability while troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues. Review build and release environments for security, compliance, and operational readiness. Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability remediation. Evaluate and implement technologies that improve scalability, security, resilience, and system performance. Support cloud infrastructure and containerized environments. Document infrastructure, maintenance, support, and change-management activities. Identify opportunities to improve deployment speed, reliability, and operational efficiency. Stay current with emerging DevOps, cloud, automation, and infrastructure technologies.Qualifications 3+ years of DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) experience in a production environment, or 5+ years of software engineering experience with significant DevOps responsibilities. Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Experience administering both Windows and Linux servers. Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Proficiency with Bash and PowerShell scripting. Experience supporting build, release, and deployment processes. Familiarity with Microsoft .NET applications and modern web technologies. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and technical documentation abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across engineering and IT teams. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.Preferred Experience Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, and Lambda. Kubernetes, particularly Amazon EKS. Docker and containerized environments. Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Cloud infrastructure automation. Highly available and scalable production environments. Security automation and vulnerability remediation.
