DevOps Engineer (CI/CD & DevSecOps)

DevOps Engineer- DevSecOpsLocation: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, OpenShift, container platforms, cloud technologies, and security integration within automated deployment pipelines. Experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or Insurance environments is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesCI/CD Pipeline Engineering Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines from code commit through production deployment. Build and support automated deployment workflows across multiple applications and technology stacks. Migrate applications from legacy build and deployment processes to modern CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Optimize deployment processes to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency. DevSecOps & Security Integration Integrate security controls and scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines. Implement and maintain automated security scanning using tools such as SonarQube, SAST, DAST, and Aqua. Ensure security and compliance standards are incorporated throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Collaborate with development and security teams to address vulnerabilities and improve application security. Cloud & Container Platform Management Deploy, configure, and support OpenShift Container Platform environments. Manage OpenShift clusters, including scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Support containerized application deployments and platform automation initiatives. Partner with application teams to modernize and automate deployment processes on cloud platforms. Collaboration & Support Work closely with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams. Provide technical guidance and best practices for DevOps and cloud-native development. Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and platform-related issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives across DevOps processes and tooling. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and automation. Experience with OpenShift and container orchestration platforms. Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and security tooling. Hands-on experience with SonarQube, SAST, DAST, and Aqua Security. Experience with Git-based source control and release management practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or Insurance organizations. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.). Experience supporting enterprise-scale application environments. Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and platform reliability practices.
