DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared) – Contract Location: London (Hybrid) Contract: Inside ir35 Duration: 6 months Sector: Financial ServicesWe are hiring a DevOps Engineer to support the deployment of an Enterprise Detection and Response (EDR) solution across a large-scale cloud estate. The environment includes both Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads across enterprise production systems.This role sits within a regulated Financial Services environment and requires SC Clearance.You will work closely with platform, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable deployment across cloud and hybrid environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport deployment of EDR tooling across cloud servers, Kubernetes clusters, and containerised environmentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar toolingImplement Infrastructure as Code using TerraformTroubleshoot and optimise cloud infrastructure using monitoring and observability toolingWork closely with security teams to ensure secure-by-design deployment practicesEssential Skills & ExperienceExperience working with Azure cloud environmentsStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent)Hands-on experience with Terraform or other IaC toolsStrong networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls)Experience with Kubernetes and containerised workloadsExposure to observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or similarExperience in DevOps or SRE environmentsDesirableExperience in regulated environments (Financial Services or Government)Understanding of SRE principles and automation practicesAgile working experience (Scrum or similar)This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-impact programme delivering security and platform improvements across a complex enterprise estate.If you are SC Cleared and available, or know someone suitable, please apply or get in touch.
