DevOps Engineer

Role OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. With 1+ year ofexperience, you are comfortable working in cloud environments and have practical exposure toinfrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and automation. You enjoy improving system reliability,streamlining deployments, and automating repetitive operational tasks.You will work closely with engineering teams to build and maintain scalable, secure, andobservable infrastructure while continuously improving development and deployment workflows.Key Responsibilities● Provision, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure, with afocus on scalability, security, reliability, and cost efficiency.● Deploy and operate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, supportingdeployments, scaling, and cluster operations.● Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable software releases andautomated deployment workflows.● Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, and troubleshoot issues using logs,metrics, traces, and alerts.● Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure tools to improve efficiencyand reduce manual effort.● Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis to improveplatform reliability and uptime.Technical Requirements● 5+ year of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure in a production environment.● Strong working knowledge of AWS (preferred); GCP or Azure experience is alsowelcome.● Hands-on experience with core cloud services such as EC2, EKS, CloudFront, IAM,networking, storage, and monitoring.● Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS.● Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions,GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.● Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch,Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK Stack.● Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues using logs, metrics, traces,and alerts.● Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is aplus.● Comfortable scripting in Bash, Python, or similar languages for automation.● Good understanding of Git, version control workflows, and deployment processes.Soft Skills● Problem Solver: Strong troubleshooting mindset with the ability to identify root causesand implement long-term solutions.● Collaborator: Ability to work effectively with engineering, product, and cross-functionalteams in a fast-paced environment.● Ownership: Takes responsibility for infrastructure reliability, operational excellence, andcontinuous improvement.● Continuous Learner: Passionate about cloud technologies, DevOps practices,automation, and staying current with industry trends.
