The successful candidate will define cloud infrastructure architecture, CI/CD strategies, platform engineering standards, DevSecOps practices, and release governance to enable secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery across multiple digital products and client platforms.This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the organization's DevOps capability by driving automation, infrastructure modernization, platform reliability, and AI-assisted engineering practices while providing technical leadership to cross-functional engineering teams.Key Responsibilities DevOps Architecture & StrategyDesign and maintain the organization's DevOps architecture, standards, and best practices.Develop CI/CD strategies that improve software delivery speed, quality, and reliability.Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and cloud deployment models.Platform Engineering & InfrastructureDesign secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.Establish reusable infrastructure templates and platform engineering standards.Drive infrastructure automation and continuous improvement initiatives.Release Management & DevSecOpsDefine release management processes, deployment governance, and rollback strategies.Implement DevSecOps practices, including secrets management, access controls, and security compliance.Ensure consistent deployment standards across development, testing, staging, and production environments.Monitoring & Operational ExcellenceEstablish monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting frameworks.Develop backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.Introduce AI-enabled automation to improve operational efficiency and incident resolution.Technical OperationsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.Lead infrastructure and platform improvement initiatives.Develop architecture documentation, operational standards, and implementation guides.Required Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years' experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role.Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices, deployment automation, and release management.Experience working in Agile software development environments.Professional cloud or DevOps certifications are an added advantage.Technical CompetenciesDevOps & Cloud TechnologiesDevOps architecture and platform engineeringCI/CD pipeline design and automationInfrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent)Microsoft Azure or other cloud platformsGitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD toolsDocker and containerizationLinux administration and networking fundamentalsInfrastructure & OperationsMonitoring, logging, and observability toolsIdentity and access managementBackup and disaster recovery planningRelease governance and deployment automationPostgreSQL and cloud database technologiesDNS and Cloudflare managementAI & Engineering ToolsExperience using AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or equivalent to improve automation, debugging, documentation, and engineering productivity.Soft SkillsStrong leadership and architectural thinkingExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teamsStrong planning, organization, and decision-making skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityAdaptability and a continuous learning mindsetResults-oriented with the ability to balance innovation, security, and operational excellenceWhy Join DigitalQatalyst?Join DigitalQatalyst and play a pivotal role in building a modern DevOps capability that powers innovative digital products and cloud platforms.
