They offer an intellectually stimulating, high-impact environment where top-tier engineers work on next-generation hardware, software, and infrastructure integrations.Your new roleAs the DevOps Engineer, you will own the end-to-end automation, CI/CD delivery, and operational reliability of backend, frontend, mobile, and embedded software components. Operating primarily within secure, high-performance on-premises environments, you will bridge development and infrastructure to build robust containerized deployment pipelines, automated monitoring, and disaster recovery workflows.Key responsibilities include:CI/CD & Automation: Building, maintaining, and optimizing automated pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for multi-stack applications and embedded systems.Infrastructure & Containerization: Managing Docker-based production environments, Docker Compose, internal registries, and environment provisioning.Networking & Traffic: Configuring Nginx reverse proxies, TLS certificates, DNS, internal service routing, and firewall configurations.Observability & Logging: Building and scaling enterprise monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and related observability stacks.Database & DR Operations: Executing automated backup, point-in-time recovery, and disaster-recovery procedures for production PostgreSQL instances.Release Management: Supporting development, staging, and production environments with controlled, secure, and repeatable release processes.What you'll need to succeedTo qualify for this position, you must demonstrate a minimum of 4+ years of proven, production-grade experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure automation across the following core technical areas:OS & Scripting: Strong Linux administration (specifically Ubuntu Server) paired with advanced Bash and/or Python automation scripting.Containers & Orchestration: Production mastery of Docker and Docker Compose.CI/CD Pipelines: Deep hands-on experience building deployment workflows in GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.Web Servers & Networking: Advanced Nginx configuration, reverse proxy setup, TLS management, and a firm grasp of networking, DNS, firewalls, and TCP/IP protocols.Data & Monitoring: Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL backup/restore operations, alongside system monitoring and alert configuration using Prometheus and Grafana.Desirable Extras: Experience with on-premises environments, self-hosted GitLab CE, HashiCorp Vault, Keycloak/OIDC, Loki/OpenTelemetry, K3s/Kubernetes, messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Redis, MQTT), or GPU infrastructure and AI inference environments.What you'll get in returnCutting-Edge Tech: The opportunity to manage infrastructure for complex systems spanning AI, robotics, and edge/embedded computing.High Impact: Complete ownership over on-premises deployment pipelines, observability, and release automation.Growth: Work alongside leading researchers and systems engineers driving industrial digital transformation.Package: Competitive salary package tailored for experienced DevOps and SRE talent.What you need to do nowIf you are interested in this opportunity, click 'apply now' to submit an up-to-date copy of your CV.
