Role DescriptionWe are looking for a DevOps Engineer / Cybersecurity Specialist to support reliable software delivery, secure technology infrastructure, and effective IT operations. This role combines automation, cloud technologies, system monitoring, security controls, and risk management to improve the availability, performance, and protection of digital environments.The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, infrastructure automation, and monitoring solutions. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software releases, improve system reliability, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize infrastructure performance across development, testing, and production environments.The Cybersecurity Specialist will help protect systems, networks, applications, and data from security threats. You will monitor security events, identify vulnerabilities, support incident response activities, implement security controls, and contribute to security assessments and risk mitigation initiatives.Both roles require strong technical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of modern IT environments. You will contribute to automation, system hardening, access management, security monitoring, documentation, compliance activities, and continuous improvement while staying informed about emerging technologies, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, cloud infrastructure, and software development processes.Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and version control systems such as Git.Knowledge of tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or comparable environments.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network security, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, or intrusion detection systems.Understanding of identity and access management, authentication, authorization, encryption, and security controls.Ability to investigate system issues, security alerts, vulnerabilities, and potential incidents.Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Good communication and collaboration skills when working with development, IT, security, and business teams.Proactive mindset with an interest in cloud technologies, automation, cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and continuous improvement.
