DevOps/Platform Engineering Manager

The Mission:Our core platform powers real-time analytics and predictive AI across billions of web pages. As the DevOps/Platform Engineering Manager, you will lead the core infrastructure and developer platform team responsible for cloud architecture, Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD automation, observability, and overall site reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Vision & Strategy: Define the roadmap for cloud infrastructure, developer self-service tooling, internal developer platforms (IDP), and multi-region deployment strategies.Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of high-calibre DevOps, SRE, and Cloud Engineers. Drive an inclusive culture of automation, reliability, and technical excellence.Reliability & SRE Governance: Champion reliability best practices, SLO/SLA tracking, error budget management, automated alerting, and blameless post-mortem culture across all engineering teams.Infrastructure Automation & Cost Governance: Oversee Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud cost optimisation (FinOps).Security & Compliance: Partner with InfoSec to ensure robust infrastructure security, vulnerability remediation, access management (IAM), and compliance standards.Required Qualifications:8+ years of total DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure experience, with 2+ years of experience managing a dedicated DevOps or SRE team.Production mastery of Kubernetes, container runtimes, service mesh, and container networking at enterprise scale.Deep hands-on expertise with AWS or GCP, combined with strong Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).Proven experience building and optimising modern CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins) to boost developer velocity.Strong background in observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, Datadog).Solid scripting/automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.Please note: All shortlisted candidates must be physically present in one of these three cities on the specified dates for an on-site interview at our designated venues:Bengaluru | Oct 7 - Oct 12Venue: WeWork The Pavilion, 62/63 Church Street, Haridevpur, Shanthala Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560001Mumbai | Oct 13 - Oct 15Venue: WeWork NESCO IT Park, North Wing, 10th Floor, Building 4, Western Express Highway, Goregaon, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400063New Delhi (NCR) | Oct 16 - Oct 20Venue: WeWork Eldeco Centre, 2nd Floor, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi, Delhi 110017All interview sessions are conducted strictly in person at the designated WeWork hubs.
