Business Development Manager - Dewatering Byrne Equipment Rental | Dubai / Abu Dhabi, UAEWe, Byrne Equipment Rental is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Dewatering to establish and grow our new Dewatering rental and solutions business across the UAE. Based in Dubai with coverage across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, this is a dual commercial-and-technical role: you will identify, develop and convert rental opportunities with contractors, consultants and key clients, then own the technical application, supplier sourcing, pricing and overall P&L of the line. As a greenfield category, the role calls for a high degree of autonomy, you will run it initially within our existing Sales and Operations teams and build a dedicated dewatering team as volumes grow.What you will doLead sales and business development for dewatering rentals across the UAE contractors, consultants and key clientsVisit sites, assess requirements and carry out technical application and pump sizing (flow rate, head, water table, site conditions)Prepare quotations and costings, present to client engineers, and closeSource, evaluate and negotiate with dewatering OEMs and suppliers; help build the rental fleet and spares inventoryOwn pricing, margin, utilization and the profitability of the Dewatering lineCoordinate with Operations on equipment readiness, mobilization and on-site supportBuild and lead a dedicated dewatering team as the business scalesWhat you need8 - 12 years in equipment sales or rental, with a minimum 5 years directly in dewatering, wellpoint, deep well, submersible and dry-prime pumpsProven UAE/GCC track record in construction, infrastructure or oil & gas, with an existing client networkAbility to independently size a dewatering solution and prepare accurate costingExperience carrying a revenue, margin or P&L targetSupplier sourcing, procurement and negotiation experienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentValid UAE driving licenceEntrepreneurial and self-driven comfortable building a line from zeroCompany Description:Byrne Equipment Rental LLC, part of the Byrne Group, has been a leader in the Middle East’s equipment rental industry for over three decades.
