The company is committed to environmental sustainability, including zero-carbon initiatives, and actively empowers tribal women through self-help groups, promoting social inclusion and community development.Role Description The DGFT-Head is a full-time, on-site position based in Raipur, responsible for overseeing all activities related to the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and export-import compliance. The role includes managing export and import licensing, preparing and reviewing documentation for duty drawback and export incentives, and ensuring adherence to foreign trade policy, customs regulations, and related statutory requirements. The DGFT-Head will coordinate with internal teams such as finance, logistics, and production to align documentation, shipments, and regulatory timelines, while maintaining accurate records and reports for audits and government submissions. The role involves regular interaction with DGFT offices, customs authorities, banks, and other external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and optimize the company’s benefits under applicable trade schemes. The DGFT-Head will also monitor regulatory changes, recommend process improvements, and train relevant team members on updated policies and procedures.QualificationsStrong knowledge of DGFT regulations, Foreign Trade Policy, export-import procedures, and customs documentation.Experience managing export licenses, EPCG/Advance Authorization, duty drawback, and other export incentive schemes.Proficiency in documentation, data management, and use of digital portals related to DGFT, customs, and banking.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate with external authorities, and resolve compliance issues efficiently.Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, International Business, Law, or a related field; advanced qualifications in foreign trade are an advantage.Prior experience in a DGFT/EXIM-focused leadership role within manufacturing, FMCG, or allied industries is preferred.
