DHA Operating Room Nurse

Role Description The role involves providing safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures in the operating room. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room and equipment, verifying patient identity and consent, assisting the surgical team during procedures, and maintaining strict infection control and sterile techniques. The role also includes patient and family education, adherence to DHA and facility policies, and participation in quality and safety initiatives.QualificationsDemonstrated proficiency in operating room practice, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing responsibilities.Strong foundation in medicine and surgery concepts relevant to perioperative care.Professional nursing skills, with a current, valid nursing license and DHA eligibility or registration.Proven experience delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care in a surgical or acute care setting.Relevant nursing bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.Knowledge of infection prevention, sterile techniques, and patient safety protocols.Previous operating room experience in UAE is mandatory.
