Apply & track with Apply EdgeThis is a field-based position covering west Los Angeles territory (Long Beach, Torrance, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica). Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Educate patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals about diabetes management products. Supports sales activities indirectly and serves as a technical resource for diabetes products and solutions. Collaborate with sales counterparts and other departments to develop and implement territory growth strategies, identify opportunities, and ensure optimal patient experiences. Troubleshoots clinical and technical issues related to products and assists healthcare professionals in managing patient therapy for positive outcomes. Consults and presents to individuals and groups, plans and manage assignments within budget, and travels within the assigned territory for seminars, events, and meetings. Participates in ongoing competency development through training and attends conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness. Requirements: RN (BSN preferred), RD or RPh or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experienceAdvanced Diabetes Education Professional Credential (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or Board Certified, Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM) certified or eligible)2-years’ experience coordinating and conducting patient education on the technical use of diabetes technology (experience with video remote education preferred)Ability to relate effectively with patients, referral sources and health care professionals.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate as a clinical expert on diabetes, diabetes technology, Automated Insulin Delivery, and diabetes management software systems to patients and health care providers.Skilled at presenting educational material in a clear, concise manner to various audiences.Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing market and see change as an opportunity to improve business performance and campaign for it when necessary.1-year related diabetes/endocrinology industry experience preferredAbility to travel at least 80% in your assigned territory; must maintain a valid driver’s license and required auto insurance as well as good driving record per company policy COMPENSATION: Base salary range of 110-135k and total on target earnings range of 136-160k, 401k, full benefits and expenses.
