Test Execution & Performance Optimization (Combustion &After-treatment)• Plan and execute daily steady-state and transient engine testprotocols.• Analyze combustion characteristics, fuel economy, andemissions profiles to ensure performance meets targetspecifications.• Oversee the performance and integration of EGR, SCR, DPF,and other critical emissions control technologies.• Technical Troubleshooting & Maintenance (System Diagnostics)• Act as the primary lead for diagnosing complex issues withinengine hardware, fuel systems, cooling loops, and ECUs.• Lead investigations into test failures, implementing correctiveactions to resolve hardware or software deviations.• Ensure all test cell architectures (air intake, high-pressurefuel, etc.) comply with rigorous functional safety standards.• Operational Excellence & Stakeholder Management (UptimeOptimization)• Develop proactive maintenance strategies to minimizeunscheduled downtime and ensure peak test cell utilization.• Coordinate with Calibration, Hardware Development, andFacilities teams to align testing with project milestones.• Manage test cell assets, tooling, and technical personnel toensure seamless project progression.Requirements:• Combustion Performance Engineer will serve as the technicalowner of engine test cell operations.• Execution of daily test plans, ensuring data integrity, engineperformance optimization, and maximum system reliability.• This role requires a deep mastery of ICE cycles, advancedafter-treatment, and the ability to troubleshoot complexelectromechanical systems.• Extensive experience in ICE technology, thermodynamics, andemissions control, engine data analysis• Deep understanding of Diesel Engine system and complexAfter-treatment architectures.• Expert-level ability to use calibration tools to interpret realtime engine behavior.
