Joining Hylift offers the opportunity to work with a trusted provider in a dynamic, service-oriented environment.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Diesel Mechanic role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Diesel Mechanic will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on forklifts and other diesel-powered material handling equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Daily responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues, performing preventive maintenance, and replacing or repairing parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components. The role also involves maintaining accurate service records, coordinating with the service team to schedule work, and supporting emergency breakdown repairs at customer sites when required. The Diesel Mechanic will follow safety standards and company procedures to deliver high-quality service within agreed timelines.Qualifications Strong skills in Diesel Mechanics with experience working on forklifts and other Heavy Equipment.Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance, including diagnostics and repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.Relevant technical diploma or certificate in automotive/diesel/mechanical engineering or a related field.Previous experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic, preferably in material handling or industrial equipment.Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in workshop and on-site environments.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and equipment diagrams.Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Willingness to work on-site in Dubai and support field service visits within the UAE when needed.
