Job Title: Dietitian Intern (Western-Trained)Department: Nutrition & Dietetics Reports To: Medical Director

Employment Type: Internship (6 months)About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and energetic Dietitian Intern to join our team at Mayfair Nutrition Center.

This internship is designed for individuals currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a dietetics program accredited under a recognized Western framework (e.g., UAE, US, UK, Canada, Australia, or EU).This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an outpatient, wellness-focused setting. You will work closely with our team to help clients achieve their health goals through evidence-based nutrition counseling, personalized meal planning, and community education.Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of a licensed Clinical Dietitian, the intern will:· Client Assessments: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments Including dietary intake analysis, anthropometric measurements (body composition), and lifestyle evaluations.· Personalized Nutrition Plans: Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized nutrition plans for clients focusing on weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular health, food intolerances/allergies, gut health, and sports nutrition.· Counseling & Coaching: Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and coaching to clients, utilizing behavior change techniques (e.g., motivational interviewing) to support long-term lifestyle modifications.· Group Education: Assist in designing and leading group nutrition workshops, cooking demonstrations, and corporate wellness seminars.· Client Follow-up: Track client progress, document sessions, and adjust nutrition plans based on client feedback and health outcomes.· Center Support: Help create engaging educational materials, meal plans, and social media content to promote the center’s programs.Learning Outcomes & Opportunities· Gain practical experience in outpatient counseling and client relationship management.· Develop skills in translating complex nutritional science into actionable, easy-to-understand advice for the general public.· Build confidence in public speaking, group facilitation, and behavior change psychology.· Learn the operational and business aspects of running a successful nutrition and wellness center.Qualifications & Requirements· Education: Currently enrolled in the final year of, or recently graduated from, an accredited Dietetics/Nutrition program in the UAE, US, UK, Canada, Australia, or EU.· Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of clinical nutrition, weight management, and preventive health.· Skills: Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.· Cultural Competence: Ability to tailor nutrition advice to diverse cultural, religious, and personal preferences.· Tech Savvy: Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR), meal planning software, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.· Language: Proficiency in English (bilingual or multilingual candidates are a strong plus).· Certifications: DHA eligibility, Good Standing Certificate.How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a brief cover letter detailing their specific areas of interest (e.g., weight management, sports nutrition,) and availability to carreers@hellomealsonme.com with the subject line: Dietitian Intern Application - [Your Name].
