This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining digital banking channels, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable customer-facing systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and integrating software components, collaborating with banking stakeholders to understand channel requirements, and optimizing system performance and reliability. The engineer will troubleshoot technical issues, support deployment and configuration of banking applications, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with core banking and third-party services. The role also involves documenting technical designs, adhering to security and compliance standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of digital banking platforms.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Programming for building and maintaining digital banking solutions.Candidates should possess skills in Electronics and Verilog for working with digital systems and hardware-related components where applicable.Candidates should possess skills in Integration for connecting banking channels with core systems and third-party services.Experience with digital banking platforms, APIs, and microservices architectures is highly beneficial.Strong understanding of banking processes, security standards, and regulatory compliance in financial services is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field is desirable.Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Experience in Dubai or the broader Middle East banking market is an advantage.
