Strategy, media, content, and execution live under one roof, allowing us to move quickly, test ideas, and create work that actually performs.We work with brands across industries and are building a team of people who are creative, curious, culturally aware, and excited about making things, not just talking about making them.Role DescriptionSPEEDXMEDIA is looking for a Digital Content Creator who is deeply plugged into internet culture, social media trends, and the way people actually consume content online.This is an idea-first, hands-on creative role. We want someone who can spot a trend before it feels overdone, turn a loose idea into a strong concept, shoot the content, edit it, write the caption, and get it published.You should understand what makes someone stop scrolling, why certain formats work on different platforms, and how brands can participate in culture without feeling forced or three weeks late.You will create content for SPEEDXMEDIA as well as client brands, working closely with our creative, marketing, production, and strategy teams.This is a full-time, on-site position in the Los Angeles area.What You'll DoDevelop original, social-first content ideas for SPEEDXMEDIA and our clientsStay constantly dialed into emerging trends, memes, creators, sounds, formats, platform features, and broader internet cultureTurn trends into brand-relevant concepts rather than simply copying what everyone else is doingConcept, shoot, edit, caption, and publish short-form content from start to finishCreate content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other relevant platformsFilm content using phones, cameras, and lightweight production setups depending on the conceptEdit short-form video with strong pacing, hooks, captions, transitions, sound, and platform-native creative techniquesWrite social copy, hooks, headlines, and captions that feel natural to each platformWork with team members, clients, talent, and leadership to capture contentAdapt one creative idea into multiple pieces of content and platform-specific variationsParticipate in brainstorming sessions and consistently bring new concepts to the tableManage content from concept through publication without requiring constant directionMaintain content calendars and ensure approved content is published accurately and on timeReview performance data to understand what is working and use those insights to improve future creativeExperiment constantly with new formats, creative approaches, tools, and platformsWho We're Looking ForYou are someone who naturally notices what is happening online.You probably send people TikToks before they have seen them, understand why certain creators are suddenly everywhere, and can immediately think of three ways a brand could turn a cultural moment into content.Just as importantly, you can actually execute the idea.You are comfortable picking up a phone or camera, directing a quick shoot, opening an editing platform, building the final piece, and publishing it.We are looking for someone who is:Highly creative and constantly generating new ideasDeeply familiar with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social platformsStrong at short-form video editing and understands pacing, hooks, retention, and storytellingComfortable shooting and producing their own contentFluent in tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platformsAble to identify trends early and determine which ones actually make sense for a brandStrong at writing short-form social copy and captionsComfortable working quickly and producing a meaningful volume of contentAble to take an idea from concept to published post independentlyCollaborative, organized, and comfortable working across multiple brands and projectsCurious about AI, emerging creative technology, and new ways of producing contentExperience2+ years of hands-on experience creating social or digital content for a brand, agency, media company, creator, or similar environment preferredA portfolio or social accounts demonstrating strong short-form content creation and editing ability is requiredAgency experience is helpful but not requiredA degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Film, or a related field is welcome but not required.
