Apply & track with Apply EdgePosition Summary:We are seeking a Digital Factory Developer with 3–5 years of experience delivering software and integration solutions in manufacturing or industrial environments. This role focuses on developing and implementing digital manufacturing applications that improve operational visibility, connectivity, and performance across plant operations.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial software platforms, data integration, and manufacturing systems, along with the ability to work directly with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.Responsibilities:• Design and develop manufacturing software applications and integrations• Configure and deploy solutions involving MES, SCADA, IIoT, and industrial data systems• Develop dashboards, APIs, scripts, and database solutions to support plant operations• Integrate production systems with ERP, quality, and business systems• Support industrial communications and connectivity using technologies such as OPC UA and MQTT• Participate in system testing, commissioning, and startup activities• Collaborate with controls engineers, software developers, project managers, and customer stakeholders• Assist with technical documentation, troubleshooting, and user training• Support multiple client projects in a fast-paced consulting environmentRequired Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field• 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation, manufacturing systems, or software integration• Experience with industrial software platforms such as:• Ignition• FactoryTalk• AVEVA/Wonderware• MES or historian platforms• Experience programming in one or more of the following:• Python• C#• SQL• JavaScript• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and networking concepts• Experience with relational databases and data integration• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills• Effective written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work independently while contributing within project teamsPreferred Qualifications:• Experience with Industry 4.0 or smart manufacturing initiatives• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS• Knowledge of ISA-95 manufacturing models and standards• Experience with Git, containerization, or modern software deployment practices• Exposure to manufacturing analytics, OEE, or production reporting systems• Prior experience in a client-facing or systems integration environmentTypical Projects:• Manufacturing dashboard and reporting applications• MES and production tracking implementations• Industrial data historian deployments• ERP-to-production system integrations• Machine monitoring and downtime tracking solutions• IIoT and edge connectivity projectsWhat We Offer:• Exposure to diverse manufacturing technologies and industries• Opportunity to work on modern Industry 4.0 initiatives• Collaborative engineering-focused culture• Technical growth and career advancement opportunities• Competitive compensation and benefits• Flexible work environment with meaningful project impact
