🗂 We’re Hiring: Digital Forensics Specialist🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time💼 Level: Mid-Level to SeniorWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Digital Forensics Specialist to investigate digital incidents, analyze electronic evidence, and support cybersecurity investigations. This role will be responsible for conducting forensic examinations of computers, mobile devices, networks, and other digital environments while maintaining evidence integrity and producing clear technical findings.🎯 Key Responsibilities• Conduct digital forensic investigations involving computers, mobile devices, servers, networks, and cloud environments.• Collect, preserve, document, and analyze digital evidence in accordance with established forensic procedures.• Perform forensic examinations of file systems, operating systems, applications, logs, and storage media.• Analyze system artifacts, network activity, user activity, and other digital evidence to identify suspicious or unauthorized activity.• Support investigations involving cybersecurity incidents, data breaches, insider threats, fraud, and unauthorized access.• Perform evidence acquisition, imaging, hashing, verification, and chain-of-custody documentation.• Use forensic tools and techniques to recover deleted, hidden, or otherwise relevant digital information.• Analyze malware-related artifacts and suspicious files in support of incident investigations when required.• Correlate forensic findings with security logs, SIEM data, endpoint telemetry, and other sources of evidence.• Prepare detailed forensic reports documenting investigation methodology, findings, timelines, and conclusions.• Present technical findings clearly to cybersecurity teams, management, legal teams, or other authorized stakeholders.• Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure the integrity and security of sensitive evidence and investigation data.• Work closely with SOC, Incident Response, Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance, and IT teams during investigations.• Maintain forensic tools, investigation procedures, evidence repositories, and technical documentation.• Support the development and improvement of digital forensic procedures, incident response processes, and investigation capabilities.• Stay current with emerging digital forensic techniques, cyber threats, operating systems, cloud technologies, and investigative tools.✅ Requirements• Proven experience in digital forensics, incident response, cybersecurity investigations, or a related field.• Strong understanding of digital forensic principles, evidence preservation, acquisition, analysis, and documentation.• Experience investigating Windows, Linux, macOS, mobile, network, or cloud environments.• Familiarity with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Autopsy, Magnet AXIOM, Cellebrite, Volatility, or similar platforms is an advantage.• Strong knowledge of file systems, operating system artifacts, network protocols, logs, and security technologies.• Experience with incident response, malware analysis, threat investigation, or security operations is preferred.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.• Ability to reconstruct timelines and correlate evidence from multiple sources.• Strong technical writing and reporting skills.• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.• Knowledge of chain-of-custody procedures and evidence handling requirements.• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.• Professional certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, EnCE, CCE, CFCE, CHFI, or related cybersecurity/forensics certifications are an advantage.🌟 What We Offer• Opportunity to work on complex digital investigations and cybersecurity incidents.• Exposure to advanced forensic technologies, incident response, threat investigation, and cybercrime analysis.• Career progression into Senior Digital Forensics Specialist, Digital Forensics Investigator, Incident Response Specialist, DFIR Consultant, Digital Forensics Manager, or Cybersecurity Incident Response Manager roles.• A technically challenging, security-focused, and collaborative work environment.• Training, mentorship, and professional certification opportunities.• Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.
