About the BusinessThey are fast-scaling, PE-backed business operating in the property and travel technology space, managing a large national portfolio built through a series of acquisitions. Right now, that portfolio runs across fragmented systems inherited through M&A, before they can execute an effective national marketing strategy, we need to build the foundation underneath it.The marketing function is entering an exciting build phase and they're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to help lead the charge.About the RoleThis is a genuine build-phase seat, not a pure campaign execution role. Your first 6–12 months will be spent laying the groundwork, domain migration, website rebuild, and building out the data and CRM infrastructure that the business needs before it can market effectively. Once that foundation is in place, you'll move into owning national and local campaign execution across multiple audiences. You won't be doing the technical build yourself, you will work closely with the technology team, but you'll be the digital marketing voice in the room, shaping what "good" looks like, choosing the right tools, and making sure the foundation is built with commercial marketing outcomes in mind. What You'll Be DoingSupport the migration from a legacy domain to a new national domain, working closely with the technical team to protect SEO equity through the transitionPlay a key role in the website rebuild project, site architecture, and platform decisionsHelp stand up a proper CRM and centralised data layer, the business currently has no single source of truth for its customer database, so this is genuinely ground-up workWorking with the internal insights team to connect valuable portfolio-level data back to customers in a meaningful wayHave a seat at the table on martech tool selection (CRM platform, marketing automation, etc.) — you don't need to build it, but you need to know what "good" looks likeOwn execution of national marketing campaigns across performance channels (paid social, search, programmatic)Run local/regional campaigns tailored to different markets, this is a business with genuine geographic nuance, where messaging that works in one state may be completely wrong in anotherAbout You Solid experience in a digital marketing management role, ideally gained in a scale-up, startup, or high-growth environment, comfort with ambiguity and a "build it as we go" mindset is essentialExposure to CRM platforms (HubSpot or similar) and an understanding of what a modern martech stack should look like, even if you haven't built one yourselfSEO fundamentals, particularly around site migrations and protecting search equity through a domain or platform changeA commercially minded approach, able to think about lead generation and audience segmentation, not just channel executionComfort operating semi-autonomously in a hybrid/remote team, this isn't a role for someone who needs to be managed closelyFranchising, multi-site, or portfolio-based business experience is a genuine plusExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at a genuine inflection point — you'll help build the digital foundation from the ground up, with a clear path to grow the function (and your role within it) as the business scales.
