Take ownership of a sizeable digital acquisition engine – and have the freedom to make it better. There aren't many Digital Marketing Manager roles where you're trusted with nearly seven figures in paid media investment while also getting genuine ownership beyond the ads themselves. This is one of them. You'll join an established eight-person marketing team that operates much like an internal agency, taking the lead on digital performance while working closely with an experienced Head of Marketing as their unofficial 2IC.Google and Meta are important today, but the opportunity is broader than managing existing campaigns. You'll have the scope to test new channels, improve landing pages and conversion journeys, sharpen tracking and analytics, and better connect paid media with CRM and customer data. It's a 12-month maternity leave contract, but one with real scale, autonomy and visibility. And with the current Digital Marketing Manager still in the business for another five weeks, there's an opportunity for a proper handover rather than being dropped into the deep end. What you'll doYou'll take ownership of paid digital activity across Google and Meta, managing significant daily investment and continually looking for ways to improve performance, conversion and return. You'll also help evolve the channel mix. That could mean exploring platforms such as TikTok, Spotify or other emerging opportunities where the audience and commercial case stack up.But this isn't purely a paid media role. You'll create and optimise campaign landing pages, work within WordPress and connect campaigns into the CRM environment so leads, behaviour and conversion can be properly tracked. You'll use GA4 and performance data to understand what's happening across the customer journey, identify friction and turn those insights into better campaigns and digital experiences. The business currently operates with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and is considering its future CRM environment, potentially including HubSpot, giving you exposure to broader marketing technology and customer journey decisions.Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you'll also lead packages of work across the team, manage priorities through ClickUp and help connect performance, content, creative and digital activity. What you'll needWe're deliberately open on industry background. What's more important is that you've worked in a reasonably sophisticated digital environment and know how to turn investment into measurable outcomes. You'll ideally bring:Strong hands-on experience across Google Ads and MetaExperience managing meaningful paid media budgets and optimising towards commercial outcomesA good understanding of GA4, tracking, attribution and digital analyticsExperience with WordPress and campaign landing pagesExposure to CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or HubSpotAn understanding of lead generation, customer journeys and conversion optimisationThe confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders while still being comfortable getting into the detail yourselfMost importantly, you'll be curious. The team isn't looking for someone to simply maintain what's already there. They want someone who'll look at the data, question what could work better and be willing to test it.About the opportunityYou'll be joining an established Australian organisation with a growing national footprint and an in-house marketing function that has the scale and capability to do interesting work. The role is based in Murarrie and the preference is for someone who enjoys being around the team, with five days in the office currently ideal. The contract is for 12 months, with a salary of $145,000 + super, and the business is looking to move quickly so there can ideally be a handover with the current incumbent. If you're a digital marketer who enjoys performance but doesn't want to be boxed into being just a paid media specialist, this is a chance to broaden your remit while still working with enough budget and data to make your decisions matter. Please click Apply or contact Michael Johns at Gybe Consulting on 0406 210 924 or michaeljohns@gybeconsulting.com.au for a confidential discussion.Everyone will receive a response.
