Reporting to the Head of DX, you’ll lead the architecture, engineering, QA automation, DevOps and AI enablement behind web, app, CMS and platform builds for major government, culture and tourism clients. You’ll also help set technology standards across the wider Create group.This is a leadership role where you stay close to the work. Client IT teams will trust you to make big platform decisions and defend them, and our engineers will come to you when builds get complex. You sign off the technical architecture and engineering assumptions before we make any commercial commitment.What You’ll DoAct as the senior technical partner to client IT, data and product teams, leading discovery, architecture definition, integration strategy and solution workshopsSet and maintain standards across CMS, frameworks, cloud infrastructure, APIs, analytics, hosting and deployment, with clear governance for DevSecOps, documentation and riskDrive automation across CI/CD, regression testing, QA and environment management, and build reusable frameworks and component librariesLead technical scoping, estimation and risk evaluation on new and existing businessSelect, onboard and manage development, cloud, AI and infrastructure partnersPilot AI, composable and headless architecture, and guide clients and developers on using AI responsiblyMentor engineering and delivery teams, and help us hire and grow technical talentWhat We’re Looking ForBased in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, available onsite full time from Q4 202610+ years in technology leadership at digital agencies, consultancies or technology-led organisations, covering cloud architecture, engineering, DevOps and QA automationA track record of owning technical governance and vendor relationships across multiple accounts or brandsStrong command of modern web, app and CMS architecture, cloud infrastructure and integration strategyHands-on experience guiding AI-enabled delivery and automation adoptionThe ability to explain technical trade-offs as clear business implications for C-suite stakeholdersMENAT market experience preferredProfessional fluency in English; Arabic is a plusWhat Success Looks LikeClient IT and product teams see you as a trusted transformation partner, and technical escalations dropProducts launch secure, scalable and fast, with very few issues after launchEngineering gets faster and estimates get more accurate through automation, governance and reusable frameworksAI-ready platforms and innovation pilots move from proof of concept to everyday practiceWe think without borders, so that everyone can belong.🚀 Apply now if you’re ready to lead the technology behind Remarkable Works.
